Next Booster Club Meeting: Message from Beth Wright 10-21-09 Parkway West Soccer Booster Club Meeting October 21, 2009 Details were finalized for the Pancake Breakfast November 7th Parent Volunteers are needed to help
with the Breakfast. Please contact your team representative if you are willing to help the morning of the
November 7. Lisa Laudel has volunteered to sell Pancake Breakfast Tickets at the West Varsity Football game on Friday.
(weather permitting) End of Season Banquet is scheduled for 6 pm on November 18 – catering
by Pasta House. Cost of ticket will be $11 per person – players will eat courtesy of Booster Club.
The banquet will take place in the cafeteria. 6 Concession stand earnings are predicted
to be in excess of $800 – actual numbers will be available next month. Thank you
to everyone who has supported the upper and main stadium concession stands. Many thanks to Kathy Bogowith, Lisa
Laudel, Dee Franta, Mina McMullin, Holly Stankovic, Coach Skordos, and Coach Wayland for a very successful Senior Night –
and the Varsity team on their WIN! Message from Beth Wright 9-1-09Below is a list of
what we will need from each team for the tail gate gathering on Friday - we will be setting up on the grass by
the football field fence and plan to eat after the Varsity game which starts at 5. There is a varsity football
game the same evening so the parking lot will be active. Please contact your team and
spread
the word on what is needed. Last year we had a nice large turnout and hoping for the same this year. We
need TABLES - please let me know if anyone has long tables we can use to serve food from. Probably
need at least 4 total - and we need a grill? Let me know if anyone has one to bring up to school. Any

8-26-2009Thank you all for attending the meeting
last week. It is always nice to have strong parent support and I know the coaches appreciate it. Highlights of
the meeting include:
September 4 - Tailgate Party - All teams included - We will have burgers and brats, each family
will be asked to bring a dish, chips, drink or dessert. This event will follow the Varsity game and will be held around
the soccer parking lot area. (A West football home game is also the same evening) Individual team information will be
going out to players on Monday.
Pancake Breakfast - Soccer Fundraiser - this will take place on November 7 at
Applebees in the valley. Players will be asked to sell tickets and each family will be asked to participate in donating
for a raffle basket. More information on this will come later. Please mark your calendars for October 24. We
are raising money to purchase a sound system for the upper
soccer field and kick nets to prevent balls going over the
fence and into the street or parking lot.
